President Joe Biden falsely claimed that the national average price of gas per gallon was “over $5 when i took office” during prepared remarks delivered on Thursday.
“The most common price of gas in America is three dollars and 39 cents, down from over $5 when I took office,” Biden said.
It is unclear where the President sourced the idea that gas prices were “over $5” in January 2020, but the claim is completely untrue.
In actuality, the national average for a gallon of gas was $2.39, less than half of $5 and over a dollar less than the $3.39 figure Biden bragged about on Thursday.
Inflation has spiked dramatically under the Biden administration, and polling data shows that the regime is highly unpopular despite attempts to blame high energy cost on Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

Biden sputtered more unintelligible jargon regarding gun control during a presidential forum with far-left organization NowThis this week, claiming he has authored legislation preventing there being “more than 8 bullets in a round, okay?”
“My, my, my legislation says there can be no more than eight bullets in a round, okay?” Biden stammered.
It is unclear what exactly the commander-in-chief of the united States was talking about, though it is possible he confused the word “round” – another term for bullet – with “magazine,” which is the accessory that holds the bullets in many modern firearms.

Biden is a lying moron, plain pure and simple
He was a professional liar before he even became Vice President, the Biden crime family has been built on lies, as time goes on it just gets to be a constant habit with him and his fellow Democrats, wake up everyone, get these idiots out of our government, vote !!!!!!???
When the Right-wing media stops calling him the President, which legally he is NOT, then I’ll take what they say seriously. When the United States turns its back on justice, the Constitution and the common good for the citizens, we are f’n done as a free society!!
More and more Americans are now nervously asking themselves “Does the POTUS make these blatantly, obviously false statements to get “under the skin of his political enemies/critics”, or is it something more serious that we as a country need to take more seriously in terms of the national security risks to this country? If it’s one or two times, people would just chuckle and move on. But when the POTUS shows a pattern this troubling and scary, then it is time for us to have a serious national conversation. The President’s tendency to not exercise self-restraints( “For God’s sake, Putin can not remain in power”, “The U.S is prepared to defend Taiwan militarily”, “you U.S servicemen will say in Ukraine “we can not take it anymore”, and his bizarre comments about Russia Gulf Stream pipeline just a few months before the pipeline was attacked and damaged…on and on. And curiously, we do not know what Mr. Putin is thinking….especially given Biden’s comments. While lots of Americans are hyped up about Mr. Biden’s family business connections constituting serious national security risks, I am more concerned about the President’s lack of discipline and self-restraint, and his tendency to tell lies impulsively and only to deny his own assertions if he is called out on them. In a country with a fair and courageous press, these tendencies would be seriously exposed and questions asked about the underlining causes, etc. But, we do not have a trusted, respected press any more: we now have echo chambers of one political party in which most of the people neither trust nor respect. Very SAD!!
