Biden to Raise the Fees Paid By Legal Immigrants to Give Illegal Aliens a Free Ride

Joe Biden is going to raise the fees that legal immigrants pay in order to help pay for illegal aliens. These legal immigrants have followed every US law in order to come into the country.

The Biden proposal would raise the fees paid by legal immigrants by an average of 40% and all of that extra revenue will go for services for illegal aliens. We should be discouraging illegal immigration, but Biden actually encourages them.

According to the USCIS, the fee adjustments are forecasted to generate between $5.2 billion to $6.4 billion in yearly revenue. That creates an additional $1.9 billion dollars that will go to illegal immigration. USICS says that the money is “needed” to “fully recover the cost of all expenses and meet projected demand for services.”

Additional fees would apply for permits, visas, and green cards. The cost of filing for an H-1B pre-application fee climbed from $10 dollars to $215 dollars. This actually will probably stop many people from coming here legally and they could start just walking across the border where they don’t have to pay a dime. Not only will they not have to pay a fee, but they will also get monetary and other benefits Biden bestows on illegal aliens. They will be feeding at the trough of taxpayer money.

The proposal states that the extra funds will go towards 7,778 additional staff, annual employee pay raises, contact cost increases, technology maintenance and refresh, customer service, new officer training, FOIA responses, refugee resettlement, and the “Asylum Processing Rule.”

The USCIS estimates that $425.9 million will be allocated to “fund more asylum officers adjudicating credible fear and reasonable fear claims at the border.” In addition, approximately $1,165.7 million will be used to hire more staff, and another $149 million will be used for annual raises.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection encountered 2.3 million migrants at the southern border in the fiscal year 2022.

Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse reported that, due to backlogs, asylum-seeking applicants must wait, on average, 4.3 years to appear in court. TRAC estimated that at least 1.6 million asylum cases are waiting for a scheduled court date.

 USCIS Director Ur M. Jaddou stated:

“In addition to improving customer service operations and managing the incoming workload, USCIS must continue to fulfill our growing humanitarian mission, upholding fairness, integrity, and respect for all we serve. This proposed rule allows USCIS to more fully recover operating costs for the first time in six years and will support the Administration’s effort to rebuild the legal immigration system.”

There are about 400,000 illegal aliens who do not have a court case and DHS and immigration services do not know where these illegal aliens are at. That makes it nearly impossible to deport them. I predict that money spent on illegal aliens will increase dramatically under Joe “China Stooge” Biden. How could it not?
