Rep James Comer blames serial liar Adam Schiff for the lack of trust that people have in congressional investigations. It’s hard to believe in someone or something that continually lie to you. How many times did Adam Schiff go on television saying that he had proof positive that Trump colluded with Russia to fix the 2016 election? I can’t count that high. He is also known as a serial leaker, who is not above making up his own facts.
Cromer also cited the late Rep Elijah Cummings for mishandling investigations along with Schiff. The funny thing is now Biden and congressional Democrats claim that the Americans do not want congressional investigations now that the shoe is on the other foot. The Democrats hope to quash a House investigation into the Biden deals with communist China. Tens of millions of dollars flowed from China to the Biden family and in return, Joe Biden has faithfully done China’s bidding.
Comer will become the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, a very powerful position and one that can cover many different investigations. The Republicans will hld the majority and can vote for any investigation they like. The ones that Democrats fear most.
Comer said:
“ I don’t believe congressional investigations have a whole lot of credibility right now. I blame Adam Schiff for that. But it’s also both parties to blame for investigations in the past. But I really want to change that.”
Schiff, who currently serves on the House Intelligence Committee and the January 6th Committee is best known for the constant lying on CNN about President Trump and Russia collusion. He is also a major leaker. He left the House chamber during Don Jr’s testimony and CNN was able to put out a story before he was done testifying. he just couldn’t wait and of course, it was another smear without a grain of truth.
Comer also promised not to “abuse the subpoena ability” while he is chair of the Oversight Committee. Specifically, he promised not to indiscriminately send “subpoenas to everyone in a presidential administration like Elijah Cummings did.” Cummings served as Chair of the Oversight Committee from January 2019 until his death in October of that year. “So when you get a specific subpoena from Oversight when I’m chairman, then it’s going to mean something,” Comer said. “We’re going to be very selective in who gets subpoenas.”
Comer also dismissed criticism that his committee would take focus off Republican legislative priorities and messaging. “Well, the Oversight Committee right now is 8% of our Republican Conference,” he told the outlet. “We’re in charge of investigations: waste, fraud and abuse. That’s our job.”
Investigations the Republican-led committee will undertake include the origins of the COVID pandemic; fraud and abuse of the Paycheck Protection Program and pandemic-related unemployment insurance; the crisis at the southern border; and the botched American withdrawal from Afghanistan. “One of the things Republicans campaigned on was holding this administration accountable,” Comer added. “I’m doing my role. My committee’s 8% of the conference. The other 92% is going to be trying to reduce inflation, securing the border, getting crime under control, trying to change the energy policy.”
Comer plans on investigating Hunter Biden and the Biden family first. Comer said:
“[I am] pretty confident that a majority of Americans have no idea the extent of Hunter Biden’s criminal activity. Joe Biden was directly involved in that.”
“We need to be very specific on what the immediate family members [of the president] can do with respect to lobbying. That should be something that’s not partisan with the Democrats because they’ve criticized the previous president’s son-in-law on some of that stuff.”

I agree Schiff should be investigated for pedophilia. Allows Biden to sit in the white house knowing full well what he is because Schiff is one as well. But crimes go well beyond Schiff it will take time to bring it down not just discovery reports, all that we get. Lets hope “Bulldog” lives up to his name and arrests not just reported but acted upon. Otherwise that committee is as useless as the rest.
