Dem Rep Melts After Falsely Claiming That J6 Protesters Bludgeoned Police Officer to Death

Rep. Mondaire Jones, (D-NY), accused J6 protesters of bludgeoning a Capitol Police officer to death and he also claimed that they were indirectly to blame for two other officers who committed suicide. He was not able to come out of his litany of lies without repercussions as Rep. Dan Bishop, R-N.C., called him out on his lies. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick was n0ot beaten to death. He suffered two strokes. They proved fatal.

The only two people to die violent deaths were Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt, who was shot to death by Capitol Police Officer Michael Byrd. Byrd was never interviewed, but he was exonerated of shooting the unarmed Babbitt. The second Trump supporter who was k9lled was Roseanne Boyland, who was pushed to the ground, trampled on, and then beaten by a female Capitol Police officer with a stick. She beat her repeatedly and did not stop until the stick broke. The government attributed her death to an accidental overdose of amphetamines.

Jones said:

“Are you denying that at least one Capitol police officer was murdered in the midst of what happened on Jan. 6?”

Bishop replied:

“Yeah, I think I am denying it. I understood there were reports early on that Sicknick was struck with a fire extinguisher and that was subsequently debunked as false. He died of natural causes that were not connected to the event. Are we talking about the same person, Sicknick, or are we talking about somebody else?”

Jones countered with:

“You know, we’re talking about ‘but for’ causation of Officer Sicknick’s death. And so I would hope you would at least concede at a minimum that Mr. Sicknick died as a result of what happened on Jan. 6 and I’m disappointed if you suggest otherwise sir.”

Jones later accused Bishop of nitpicking, because 138 officers were allegedly injured. He then tried to blame the deaths of Metropolitan Police Officer Jeffrey Smith and Capitol Police Officer Howard Liebengood on the protesters. Both died days after the protest of suicide.No proof has ever been produced to explain their suicides.

The New York Times reported that Officer Sicknick had been hit with a fire extinguisher during the protests, but had to correct the story a month later when that story was debunked. Jones is not the first Democrat to repeat these lies and I assure you he won’t be the last. Lying is in the Democratic DNA.

Rep. Mondaire Jones, (D-NY), insisted at a House Judiciary Committee meeting that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick was bludgeoned by Trump supporters, a claim first reported — and then later corrected – by The New York Times. Jones’ initial comment was not caught on video, but Rep. Dan Bishop, R-N.C., heard it and reacted.

Jones is not the first Democrat to repeat the false claim. It was included in the House Democrats’ second article of impeachment against former President Donald Trump over the riot.

The only people who died during the riot were Ashli Babbitt, who was shot dead by a Capitol Police Officer Michael Byrd; Kevin Greeson, 55, and Benjamin Phillips, 50, who both suffered fatal heart attacks; and Rosanne Boyland, 34, whose death was attributed to an accidental overdose of amphetamines.

Democrats were hoping to ride the J6 protests and abortion into the midterm election, but neither narrative has any sign of being successful. Republicans are expected to win back the House and could win the Senate narrowly as well. But, the Republicans only need control of the House to stop the liberal agenda of Joe Biden. Biden will not support Republican initiatives if they reach his desk, meaning the next two years will see very little legislation passed.
