New Twitter owner Elon Musk admits that in the past Twitter has interfered in US elections by censoring and shadow-banning conservative points of view. He says that will not happen again and that all views are welcome unless a user crosses the line. That is why the commies are trying to shut Twitter down. They do not want any negative stories about Democrats. Elon Musk poses a major threat to the leftist monopoly on social media.
Musk made the accusation in response to an article quoting the former head of trust and safety of Twitter that claimed Twitter will not be safer under Musk’s leadership.
Musk said:
“The obvious reality, as long-time users know, is that Twitter has failed in trust & safety for a very long time and has interfered in elections.”
“Twitter 2.0 will be far more effective, transparent, and even-handed.”
The post got over 60,000 likes. Musk has said that he plans to release internal documents of discussions over who to ban and who not to ban. Musk confirmed what conservatives have said for years about the terms of service being meted out according to ideology. Conservatives were booted for making factual statements, but liberals were given a pass even when they were spreading disinformation. A prime example of that was Hunter Biden’s laptop. They banned a lot of groups for that, although they did restore the NY Post the next day.
Social media were accused of sitting on Hunter [‘s laptop until after the election to protect Joe Biden in 2020 just before the election. In polls that were taken voters said that would have changed their vote. That alone could have altered the election. It would be a tricky question whether social media platforms broke the law since there really isn’t any guidance on the subject. However, it would be a great idea to pass legislation on them so that they are regulated like any other utility company.
“This is necessary to restore public trust,” said Musk about revealing the internal documents from Twitter.
A statement from a Twitter employee said that it had limited the story from spreading because of violations against the policy on hacked information on the platform.
“In line with our Hacked Materials Policy, as well as our approach to blocking URLs, we are taking action to block any links to or images of the material in question on Twitter,” the company said to the Post.
Musk purchased the popular social media platform for $44 billion after months of legal wrangling.

Musk’s explosive assertion came in response to comments made by Yoel Roth, Twitter’s former head of trust and safety, who indicated the social media platform was not safer under the Tesla CEO’s leadership. Roth was speaking at a Knight Foundation conference on Tuesday when he explained why he resigned from Twitter, accusing Musk of running the company like a dictator.
“One of my limits was if Twitter starts being ruled by dictatorial edict rather than by policy… there’s no longer a need for me in my role, doing what I do,” Roth said, per Reuters.
As the head of trust and safety, Roth was responsible for key content moderation decisions including banning former President Donald Trump from the platform and suppressing the New York Post’s coverage of the Hunter Biden laptop story. His decision to leave the company was part of a mass exodus of Twitter employees who left over disagreements with Musk’s free-speech absolutist vision or were laid off in harsh cost-cutting measures enforced by the billionaire.

A Trump/DeSantis ticket would be a great outcome, because the “restructuring” that needs to take place is a multi-generational project, that requires a good 8-12 years of consistent policy to cement into place. Four years of President Trump followed by 8 years of President DeSantis would be a great thing for America.
