The media and the Democrats are trying to make a big deal out of Joe Biden allegedly offering full cooperation with the investigation into documents he stole from the White House.
But, is he really? He received little notice about the search of his Wilmington home and the FBI found more classified documents. After that, Biden was given plenty of time to move any additional classified documents to somewhere safe, like the Resolute desk.
Today, the FBI searched Biden’s vacation home in Rehoboth. Two weeks ago Biden and some of his inner circle met at the vacation home. Were they actually cleaning out the site? We don’t know and probably never will, but we know when it comes to the Bidens, we cannot rule anything out.
We do know that the FBI removed hand-written notes from the time Biden was vice president. When is the FBI going to do a search of the 33,000 documents stashed away at the University of Delaware?
Bauer released the statement in response to the search being leaked to CBS News, which first broke the news Wednesday. CBS was first to break the Biden classified documents scandal last month with a report on classified documents being found by Biden’s private attorneys in a search of his office at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C. on November 2nd. CBS reported Tuesday the FBI searched the Penn Biden Center in mid-November. The FBI searched Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home on January 20, finding more classified documents from Biden’s time as senator and vice president.
The Biden administration, the Justice Department and Biden’s private attorneys have schemed to keep the searches and discoveries secret.
CBS News reporter Arden Farhi posted to Twitter, “BREAKING: Two sources familiar with the event tell CBS News FBI personnel are at President Biden’s Rehoboth home. One source familiar with the event tell CBS News the search is in relation to the classified documents investigation…A third source familiar with the investigation tells CBS News the search was planned with Biden’s attorneys and consensual. No warrant was sought for this search.”
Bauer’s statement:
“Today, with the President’s full support and cooperation, the DOJ is conducting a planned search of his home in Rehoboth, Delaware. Under DOJ’s standard procedures, in the interests of operational security and integrity, it sought to do this work without advance public notice, and we agreed to cooperate. The search today is a further step in a thorough and timely DOJ process we will continue to fully support and facilitate. We will have further information at the conclusion of today’s search.”
A third source familiar with the investigation tells CBS News the search was planned with Biden’s attorneys and consensual. No warrant was sought for this search.

UPDATE: CBS’s Rob Legare notes that this is the first day on the job for Special Counsel Robert Hur who was appointed last month by Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate the Biden classified documents scandal. DOJ set up a webpage for the Hur investigation here.
If this were Trump and not Biden, the firing squad would already be loading their weapons.
