The FBI told a supervisory agent investigating Hunter Biden to duck the GOP House Oversight Committee and not answer questions citing an ongoing investigation.
This is what I’ve been saying all along. They use the ongoing investigation ploy to keep from having to release the evidence.

The FBI warned a supervisory agent who investigated Hunter Biden that he was expected to “decline to respond” to House Oversight Committee questions about the “ongoing” case involving the first son, a bombshell letter obtained by The Post shows.
FBI general counsel Jason Jones sent the letter Sunday afternoon, just hours before the agent was set to testify — even though a source tells The Post that the FBI knew of a scheduled Monday deposition for several days.
“[T]he Department expects that you will decline to respond to questions seeking non-public information likely covered by one or more components of executive privilege or other significant confidentiality interests, in particular information about deliberations or ongoing investigative activity in law enforcement matters,” Jones wrote.
“You should instead refer such questions to the FBI’s Office of Congressional Affairs,” the FBI lawyer went on.
“Consistent with longstanding practice, this will afford the Department the full opportunity to consider particular questions and possible accommodations that may fulfill the Committee’s legitimate need for information while protecting Executive Branch confidentiality interests.”
“Specifically, the Committee has stated an interest in what the Committee has described to you as certain events that took place in December 2020 as part of this investigation. As the Department recently emphasized when affirming that U.S. Attorney David Weiss will appear before the House Committee on the Judiciary ‘at an appropriate time, consistent with the law and Department policy,’ the Department’s longstanding policy is to seek ‘wherever possible to provide information about closed, rather than open, matters.’”
Jones added: “Department officials, including those who have left the Department, are obligated to protect non-public information they learned in the course of their work. Such information could be subject to various privileges, including law enforcement, deliberative process, attorney work product, and attorney-client privileges, and privacy interests. Current and former Department officials also must protect classified information, sources and methods, and grand jury information protected by Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure

In theory it’s not a bad idea but separating 50 states and having some cohesiveness throughout in this modern high tech materialistic society wouldn’t fly so straight, without major conflicts and even wars popping up often! As I see it many of these cherry pickers that want to accept only the history that they approve of for one reason or another think that trying to rewrite history is the great panacea and problem solver when it’s nothing of the kind! It actually creates more friction and problems than you started out with and you will never get all people to agree on what the final bottom-line will have to be in sorting it all out. A lot of “Manifest Destiny” at work throughout human history, and the proof is in the pudding; who said all the lands belonged to the Natives and even if they tried to claim it’s all theirs so everyone else scram, that would eventually be challenged by others that have a bigger stick or more manpower to take control; which is how it was since the dawn of civilization! Some give and take, winners and losers! I think this is “especially heinous and preposterous” when practically all of the “rabble-rouse complainers now” are mostly people looking to “get something for nothing,” or at least the “easy way;” because “they aren’t strong enough, lack backbone, moxie or intestinal fortitude to go bust their own hump and make something good happen from their own hard labors!”
I think the American model of a Republic under God a Nation where a “Bill of Rights and Constitution” gives “a fair number of protections and those famous inalienable God given rights,” to all citizens and allows for each individual to eke out their own meager existence with a safety net of a government and society that affords at least some basic protections; is the best thing going. Outside of this American Way, we see that dictatorships and communism have been the rule of thumb and literally the people are “under the thumb of the tyrants” in those systems, to be used as “pawns” until they are no longer useful, needed or resist; then they must go, and go they do, to work camps, gulags or death! We’ve all heard wacky characters like Bernie Sanders rant about how the rich class, uh by the way he is in the ruling class that upper rich group or upper income folks, so he’s actually talking about himself; need to give away a lot of their wealth, to redistribute he says! And then I guess we can all be good little communists he figures, one happy family; but in 2018 he earned over 1Mil and gave away 10K; so we know he is “blowing smoke up our asses,” and all said by a guy that “never did an honest day’s work in his life,” or even had to take “a real job” like most people do to work hard day in and day out! All he proves is “them that got it like to keep it;” and “get lots more!” That is where this county is headed; with that entire left wing radical and “liberal jabberwocky nonsense” going on now, all the while the “real tyrants” in our own government and in “China even;” make their plans to totally control all of us. And because so many people seem to be sucked into the rewriting mode these days allowing these “kingpins” of the world to manipulate them to “divide and conquer,” we are in for a big nosedive up the road, or is that “up the creek without that proverbial paddle;” after they “get us where they want us;” right over that proverbial barrel!

Seems like the more things change the more they stay the same! This all fits today like it did a few years ago! To me that’s not a good thing, because the conflict is growing and coming to a head!
I am perplexed by the difference between Democrats and Republicans. Democrats were swiftly organizing witch hunt against sitting President of the USA (tell me about insurrection) with the speed of Cross Hurricane operation with the help of all three letter government organizations (tell me about premeditated insurrection). On the other hand, Republicans are doing excellent job of meticulously gathering evidence of the Biden Crime Family selling our country to foreign interests, but they have no power to bring charges against those who were supporting and abetting the insurrection planned and organized by Democratic Party to usurp the power. To bring any criminal charges, Republicans in Congress need absolutely non-partisan DOJ and FBI, which are not. Democrat-dominated Senate will nullify any impeachment charges brought by GOP Congressmen. The only tangible option for House Representatives is to defund both FBI and DOJ, which is hardly a popular option amongst American citizens.
Republicans are also losing to Democrats in propaganda tactics. Mass media must be shamed at any and all occasions, when they are lying, and they lie a lot.

Therefore, governors, attorneys general, and state legislatures must take emergency measures–beyond the scope of what has been attempted to this point–to follow through on the primary function of government: protecting its citizens.
The Constitution provides states an appropriate “self-help” remedy under Article I, Section 10, Clause 3, which stipulates that, “No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit delay.”

Then consider all that happened since then on through all of the “Violations of former President Trump’s Constitutional Rights” to declassify records, along with other trumped up felonious charges from a partisan crazy woman making obviously false accusations about a department store dressing room encounter several decades ago and a pornography film star tramp that met Trump at a public venue once being given supposed hush money; so together these falsehoods were weaponized, as well with the three letter organizations you allude to all in concert; for a concerted massive effort to topple Trump, while along with that goal trashing the US Constitution and the American people! If all of this doesn’t add up to a Coup and an actual INSURRECTION then nothing on earth ever will with the way things are going in this insane society!
But what mechanism and capabilities could be garnered by at least several states to pull together a solid coalition to throw the proverbial monkey wrench into the administration’s AGENDA is hard to be sure of, and is very unlikely to come about anytime soon. But if any such action did occur, even with a couple of large border states, it would certainly forestall any need for an upcoming 2024 election and force the hand of the “Deep State Felonious Characters” in a hurry, and then the next chapter in America’s demise or “Reconstruction” would have to ensue!
And we can’t forget that America’s worst global enemies are meanwhile close to the sidelines licking their chops! Any way you slice it; this would be a day and opportunity that they’ve been planning for!

“The ongoing illegal immigration crisis has exploded into a full-blown national security and humanitarian disaster, with current activity representing unprecedented levels of illegal migration, human trafficking, and drug smuggling. The Biden administration’s recent reprimand against Customs and Border Protection (CBP) horse agents, falsely smearing them to appease the open-borders wing of their political base, has only escalated the crisis.
It is clear that the Biden administration has no interest in pursuing the federal policies necessary to secure the southern border. Therefore, given the federal government’s dereliction of duty, it is now incumbent on governors and states to fill the void and do what federal officials and lawmakers refuse to do: end the invasion at the U.S. southern border and restore both order and sovereignty.
The Constitutional Basis for State Action to Counter Washington’s Dereliction of Duty
The Constitution provides a firm foundation for states to act decisively in the absence of the federal government. First, the Biden Administration has neglected its duties under Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution to protect the United States, her citizens and communities being ravaged by this invasion of crime, drugs and humanitarian crisis. Indeed, one can argue that the actions of the administration are effectively facilitating the abrogation of its own obligations.
Known as the guarantee clause, Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution states, “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them from Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.”
Therefore, governors, attorneys general, and state legislatures must take emergency measures–beyond the scope of what has been attempted to this point–to follow through on the primary function of government: protecting its citizens.
The Constitution provides states an appropriate “self-help” remedy under Article I, Section 10, Clause 3, which stipulates that, “No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit delay.”
There can be no disputing that the influx of well over 1.3 million illegal immigrants this calendar year alone and thousands of pounds of fentanyl and other deadly narcotics, facilitated by the widespread human trafficking efforts of violent international drug cartels, constitutes an invasion of the southern border of the United States.
These cartels effectively have operational control over vast swaths of the southern border.
Data provided by CBP in March 2021 estimated that cartels and human trafficking organizations are earning nearly $14 million a day moving people illegally across the southern border. These violent international cartels are raking in billions of dollars every year off the pain, suffering, and abuse of migrants.
Furthermore, most illegal drugs and narcotics enter the United States through the southern border, a finding outlined in a threat assessment dossier released by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in March of this year. The DEA report also outlines that fentanyl, a deadly narcotic that is smuggled into the U.S. by violent international drug cartels, is primarily responsible for fueling the ongoing opioid epidemic that killed nearly 37,000 Americans in 2019 and a horrific 57,550 people in 2020.

The House Oversight Committee is conducting an ongoing investigation. It’s investigation takes precedence over the investigation of any lower agency. As such, not answering questions because of a lower agency’s ongoing investigation is non-sense. The Director and all supervisors in the chain of command should be fired until the committee’s questions are answered.

“Executive Branch confidentiality interests.” In plain English, this would include anything the Bidens so not want the public to know. This sounds about the same as excluding any evidence indicating who did it in a murder trial. There should be a thorough investigation in which any evidence of wrongdoing is excluded.
