Failed 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is attempting to assert moral superiority over the Deplorables yet again, and says that she never attempted to contest the 2016 election in the same fashion as Republicans.
Speaking to CBS Evening News, Clinton now claims she did not contest the results after she massively lost to Republican businessman Donald Trump and would later blame on Russian election interference — as opposed to her own unlikeability.
Ignoring the fact that Democrats did, in fact, attempt to stop Trump from being sworn into office, Clinton says she never personally urged Democrats to push back against the certification of the 2016 election.
“Was I happy when I beat Donald Trump by nearly 3 million votes but lost the Electoral College? No,” Clinton told CBS’ Norah O’Donnell. “Did I ever for a nanosecond think, ‘I’m gonna claim victory and try to get the Democrats to refuse to certify the election’? No.”

Some users online have pointed out that, contrary to Clinton’s remarks on CBS, her own campaign supported “briefing” Electoral College members on supposed “Russian interference” in the 2016 election, which Democrats argued had rendered Trump’s landslide victory “illegitimate” and preceded never-ending investigations into the Republican president throughout the duration of his first term.
In fact, Clinton in her own words said that the 2016 election was “stolen” from her by Trump, who she added was “illegitimate,” as seen in a video posted by the “RNC Research” Twitter account that features 9 minutes of popular Democrats recently denying elections that they lost and blaming Russian interference.
“You can run the best campaign, you can even become the nominee, and you can have the election stolen from you,” Clinton said hinting at her failed 2016 bid.

“Trump knows he’s an illegitimate president,” Clinton said in the video, 4 years before the same type of rhetoric directed towards Democrat Joe Biden would cause millions of Trump supporters to be branded as “election deniers” and enemies of the state.
“The one thing that Trump is fearful of when it comes to his being president is that finally we will see how illegitimate his victory actually was,” Clinton said in another clip, followed by clips of Democrat Reps. Jaime Raskin, Sheila Jackson Lee, and Barbara Lee, objecting to the results of the 2016 election.
“There was a widespread understanding that this [2016] election was not on the level. We still don’t really know what happened,” Clinton. “You don’t win by three million votes and have all this other shenanigan stuff going on and not come away with an idea like ‘whoa, something’s not right here’.”
“[Trump] knows he’s an illegitimate president so of course he’s obsessed with me and I believe that it’s a guilty conscience,” she said.
Some of Clinton’s denials came as late as 2019, when she persisted with her baseless claim that the 2016 election was “stolen” from her by Trump.

HRC can never play by he established rules that have worked for nearly two hundred years (Electorial College)m and she wants to abolish it because she LOST. It was there to protect the people against the large cities like New York, LOs Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and others that would rule the nation. Our fore fathers were very smart men and knew that someday someone would try to take over by hook, crook, or cheating so they put it in writing and it has worked fine until the late Democratic Party came along. Now balloting doesn’t matter any more, after all those that cast a ballot cannot be trusted to make their choices all Democratic. I seem to remember several National Parties of other nations that fell for this non since and the people did away with both the leaders and the Parties. I get a feeling that the USA is about to enter one of those times. Hillary is one of the political despots who cannot stand the fact she is not in charge, is Politically insane in my opinion, and will stop absolutely nothing to get her way by lying, cheating, or even getting rid of problems so they never come back as a threat again.
