The mainstream press is laying the foundation for getting rid of Joe Biden by blaming him for the upcoming red tsunami. Why would they do that before the midterm election? I think the answer is quite simple.
They have discovered that their constant cheerleading for the Democrats is not working and they, therefore, moved on to their next goal. To keep Joe Biden off the 2024 ticket and to try to salvage the 2024 election in the process.
They hope to turn Joe Biden into the boogeyman as elected Democrats turn their back on him. Joe Biden will not run for reelection if he thinks he will lose in the Democratic primary.
He would be brutalized in the televised debates. He would just sit out the election and when either Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis wins the Oval Office and restores the economy, old Joe will sit back and claim the revival began with him.
Polling website FiveThirtyEight states that Republicans are the short favorite to win back the Senate and are favored to win the House. A recent analysis by Roll Call found that there are 22 House seats that have changed their rating. Twenty of those changes favor the Republicans. A new NPR/PBS/Marist poll revealed that Republicans hold the enthusiasm lead with 84% of Republicans saying they are enthusiastic about voting compared to the Democrats at 68%.
Progressive outlet The Guardian conceded:
“With just a few days left before polls close in America’s crucial midterm elections, Republicans appear better positioned than ever to regain control of the House of Representatives and potentially the Senate as well.”
Political betting market PredictIt where people bet real money on election results shows that 74% of the money has been wagered on the Republicans winning the US Senate. The Democrats actually led in October, but their strategy of pushing the abortion issue has fallen flat on its face as people worry about the economy and their ability to pay the rent and buy food for their families.
CNN noted President Joe Biden’s concerning approval rating:
“His approval in Gallup’s poll stood at 40%, which is the second worst for an incumbent president in a midterm since 1974. It is the worst for a first term incumbent. Biden’s disapproval rating was 56% in the survey.”
“No first-term president whose approval rating was below his disapproval rating in a midterm since 1974 has seen his party end up with more than 200 seats in the House.”
On the heels of the predictions that Democrats are in legitimate danger of losing both the House and the Senate, DNC-friendly media outlets appear to have turned on Biden and levied criticisms toward the president.
The New York Times took aim at Biden’s “exaggerations” of his economic achievements. The New York Times’ official Twitter account promoted an article with the caption: “As the midterm elections near, President Biden has increasingly made exaggerations or misstatements about his influence on the U.S. economy and his policy record.”
The article began, “President Biden and his administration have told it in recent months, America has the fastest-growing economy in the world, his student debt forgiveness program passed Congress by a vote or two, and Social Security benefits became more generous thanks to his leadership. None of that was accurate.”
The Times slammed Biden for having “recently overstated his influence on the economy, or omitted key facts.”
The New York Times took exception to Biden’s claim that he had aided retirees with an 8.7% raise in benefits because it was his inflationary policies that caused the increase. It’s called the Cost of Living Adjustment. I got a COLA increase of 190 dollars, but my rent increased by $280 bucks. On top of that loss, my grocery bills have skyrocketed. I do give the credit for that to Joe Biden and the entire Democratic Party.
The Times commented:
“Needless to say, eat generic raisin bran is not exactly a poll-tested, winning message. Clips of that comment went viral on the right, racking up tens of thousands of views on conservative YouTube and TikTok channels.”
CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale has fact-checked Biden and his White House four times since Oct. 24:
- Biden’s midterms message includes false and misleading claims
- White House deletes misleading tweet about Social Security
- Biden falsely claims the most common gas price was over $5 when he took office
- Biden falsely claims he got student debt forgiveness passed by Congress
So, without Biden running in 2024, who will be on the ticket for 2024? I predict a Beto O’Rourke/Stacey Abrams ticket.

I’m not sure they need a circular firing squad. Biden has always had that Hillaryesque knack of shooting himself in the foot while his foot is still in his mouth. Problem here is, if Biden goes before the end of his term, how do we get rid of an even greater disaster in the form of Kamala Harriss.
I would hope that if Biden face-plants and Kamala is sworn in, enough dem senators would vote to impeach her that we could get her out too. But the history of modern dems is that they place their party and power over anything the country needs. Looks like a slim chance there will be enough votes in the Senate without some dems coming over.
Harris is not constitutional eligible to be President, she was an anchor baby, and raised in Canada.

When Biden makes a false or incorrect statement it is an overstatement. If Trump makes any statement or expresses an opinion that the left does not like or disagrees with, it is a lie. If Trump bet on the Powerball and didn’t win the headlines would be, “Trump Lies About Poweball Winning Number.” If Biden claimed the moon was made of green cheese the headlines would proclaim, ‘Biden Overstates Amount of Green Cheese On Moon.”
A country with millions of people who will vote for someone like Biden has a huge problem. Biden is not hte problem he is the result of the problem.
If you need life saving surgery or kust getting your car repaired when it quits, which would you want , a pleasant friendly doctor or mechanic who is totally incompetent or a mechanic or surgeon who is competent but not very warm and fuzzy? Since I like living and having a working vehicle, I’ll go with competence – which is definitely a work the current administration is familiar with.
