President Trump is threatening to sue the Pulitzer committee over awards they gave to The New York Times and the Washington Post which were nothing but fake news about the Russia collusion hoax.
The committee did consider pulling the awards, but they decided the truth is unimportant when the subject of a smear is aimed at Trump. I don’t put any importance on the Pulitzer or the Nobel prizes.
President Trump has fought to get the awards to the New York Times and the Washington Post because the stories were nothing more than fake news.
He’s right. What possible reason could explain why they gave awards or stories full of lies? Joseph Pulitzer must be rolling over in his grave. This is not why he founded the Pulitzer Prize.
The former president said:
“They gave out the Pulitzer Prize for reporting on the Russia Hoax, reporting on Russia, Russia, Russia. So you have reporters from the Washington Post, the New York Times, that got Pulitzer Prizes, and they reported the exact wrong thing.”
The Nobel prize is equally guilty of playing politics. Remember when Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize? President Trump brokered peace between Israel and three Middle East countries that were formally hostile to Israel. Yet, he did not even come close to winning the prize. The left cannot admit Trump ever did anything good, just like they did with Reagan.
At his “Save America” rally in Robstown, Texas, President Trump concentrated on the 2022 elections, but he also commented on the fake Pulitzer Prizes. Trump also said that he would probably run again in 2024 so that he can fix America after four years of Biden. That could prove to be a daunting task.
“In order to make our country successful, safe and glorious again, I will probably have to do it again.”
Biden insists that the Democrats will win because of the economy. He’s wrong. The Republicans will win because of the Biden economy.
Regarding the recent past, Trump underscored how those who covered so-called Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election should not be permitted to keep their prizes for national reporting.
Rather than on individual journalists, Trump honed his critique on the Pulitzer Prize Board, which recently refused to rescind the awards that had been conferred to reporters for pushing the “Russia Hoax.”
The awards in question went to the staffs of the New York Times and the Washington Post for what the Pulitzer Prize Board characterized as “deeply sourced, relentlessly reported coverage in the public interest that dramatically furthered the nation’s understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections to the Trump campaign, the President-elect’s transition team and his eventual administration.”
Trump said:
“By allowing these people that got Russia, Russia, Russia wrong [to get the award], they’re actually libeling me because they’re saying they got it right and it turned out to be a hoax.”

The Washington Post boasting that :
“Post’s revelations about Russia, including contacts between Russian figures and President Trump’s associates and advisers, helped set the stage for the special counsel’s ongoing investigation of the administration.”
The press was gaslighting America for years with that hoax. And as Trump pointed out, people who were truly worthy of the prize were shut out. Also, if you are a conservative such as Fox News hosts Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Jeanine Pirro, and Laura Ingraham does not stand a chance of ever winning an awa5rd,
