Rep Jim Jordan is demanding an answer from the IRS on why they sent an agent to Matt Taibbi’s doorstep the same day he testified before Congress about the weaponization of the federal government.
When Taibbi called the agent back, he was told that his tax forms for 2018 and 2021 had been rejected. Taibbi has produced an email from the IRS that informed him tha5t his 2018 taxes were accepted.
In my opinion, this was just more of the Biden intimidation against witnesses that could expose the Biden crime family.
Taibbi is the journalist who worked with the Twitter Files that proves that the Biden government was secretly working with social media to censor free speech.
Jordan heads the committee that is looking into the weaponizing of federal government agencies. In one instance, Taibbi detailed the “constant and pervasive” communications between Twitter and the FBI concerning what narratives to quash and what claims to censor.
He also documented the efforts of California Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff’s office to silence the free press and remove unfavorable content on the platform.
Maybe the IRS should be sent to Schiff’s house. Considering bull crap sells for 2 cents a pound, he must owe a fortune in back taxes.
On March 9, Taibbi testified before the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.
The purpose of the committee, according to its chairman, Rep. Jordan, is to investigate recent violations of Americans’ First Amendment rights by the federal government as well as the Biden administration’s apparent bias against conservatives.
Taibbi told the committee that whereas the “original promise of the internet was that it might democratize the exchange of information globally … what we found is in the [Twitter] files was a sweeping effort to reverse that promise and use machine learning and other tools to turn the internet into an instrument of censorship and social control. Unfortunately, our own government appears to be playing a lead role.”
TheBlaze previously reported that Democrats on the subcommittee were highly adversarial with Taibbi present. In addition to belittling Taibbi and intimating that he was involved in sexcapades with his peers, House Democrats, including Rep. Sylvia Garcia (D-Texas), pressured the journalist to reveal his sources.
According to Jordan, an IRS agent turned up at Taibbi’s New Jersey home on the day of the hearing, “unannounced and unprompted.” The agent reportedly left a note instructing Taibbi to call the IRS days later.
When Taibbi spoke to the agent, he was told “that both his 2018 and 2021 tax returns had been rejected owing to concerns over identity theft.”
The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board wrote:
“When did the IRS start to dispatch agents for surprise house calls? Typically when the IRS challenges some part of a tax return, it sends a dunning letter. Or it might seek more information from the taxpayer or tax preparer. If the IRS wants to audit a return, it schedules a meeting at the agent’s office. It doesn’t drop by unannounced.”
“The curious timing of this visit, on the heels of the FTC demand that Twitter turn over names of journalists, raises questions about potential intimidation.”

All of the Three Letter Agencies are out of control and believe themselves to be autonomous of the rest of the government. In my opinion, all of the agencies need a major house cleaning, especially at the top.
And it’s all at Biden’s beckoning and direction. And the Left says the Right is the ones promoting violence!!! I fear if this continues, that is exactly what will happen. People will get to the end of their ability to just blow off steam. We don’t need this to happen. The Democratic Left can stop this coup. I fear they won’t because they don’t want to. This is all their master plan to control the US as a Marxist/Socialist state. They’ve pretty much got all their ducks in a row. Pray for our current Conservatives leaders in the House and Senate. They have to show the citizens of this once great country what the Democratic Radical Left is doing and what will happen if they succeed. They have a good start. We must help them keep it going.

Don’t forget when it all started. Evil anti-American Marxist Obama who unleashed full power of IRS against TEA party, also the power of federal intelligence agencies to spy not only on American citizens but also members of opposition party in Congress. Remember Trump’s presidential campaign and most of its members being illegally spied on under FISA warrants? “Fundamentally transform America” is what this evil scumbag promised.
It’s way past time to defund the IRS and so many, many other alphabet agencies. If those agencies have time to specifically intimidate conservatives then they have just way too much funding.
