RINO Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan Vows Revenge on Senators Who Spared Paxton

Speaker Phelan vows revenge on Republicans who voted against impeaching Texas hero Ken Paxton.

I was not aware that RINOs were indigenous to Texas. But, it appears that I have been sorely incorrect. Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan issued a stern warning  to state Senators, who voted against impeaching Texas hero AG Ken Paxton.

Phelan lobbied the House to vote o impeach Paxton even though they could not produce a single bit of proof to any of the charges lodged against him. In the Senate, only two Senators proved themselves to be RINOs. They all need to be primaried out of office.

In a landmark decision, Texas Senators acquitted Attorney General Ken Paxton on all 16 articles of impeachment brought against him. It 8is no wonder they voted for impeachment inasmuch as they are all Bush supporter who are still angry that Paxton beat Jeb P Bush in the primary by 36 points. Phelan is also angry that Paxton called him out for appearing to be drunk on the House floor.

Here is a video of Dade Phelan where it appears he is inebriated:

Following the sham impeachment, Attorney General Ken Paxton thanked his supporters and legal team, saying:

“Today, the truth prevailed. The truth could not be buried by mudslinging politicians or their powerful benefactors. I’ve said many times: Seek the truth! And that is what was accomplished.”

He criticized the impeachment process, stating:

“The sham impeachment coordinated by the Biden Administration with liberal House Speaker Dade Phelan and his kangaroo court has cost taxpayers millions of dollars, disrupted the work of the Office of Attorney General and left a dark and permanent stain on the Texas House.”

Read his full statement below:

“Over the last two weeks, the Texas House Board of Managers provided the Texas Senate and the people of Texas extensive evidence of Ken Paxton’s corruption, deception and self-dealing. It is extremely unfortunate that after hearing and evaluating this evidence, the Texas Senate chose not to remove him from office. Moreover, I find it deeply concerning that after weeks of claiming he would preside over this trial in an impartial and honest manner, Lt. Governor Patrick would conclude by confessing his bias and placing his contempt for the people’s House on full display. To be clear, Patrick attacked the House for standing up against corruption. His tirade disrespects the Constitutional impeachment process afforded to us by the founders of this great state. The inescapable conclusion is that today’s outcome appears to have been orchestrated from the start, cheating the people of Texas of justice.

“This impeachment was set in motion because Ken Paxton requested millions of taxpaver dollars to settle a lawsuit brought by conservative, senior employees who Paxton himself recruited to his office. These brave individuals were willing to sacrifice their reputations and careers to fight against the misconduct they witnessed, which included abuse of power, corruption, allegations of bribery, and allowing Nate Paul to act as the de facto Attorney General of Texas.

“The House General Investigating Committee’s subsequent investigation into the merits of the settlement produced more than enough damning evidence to warrant impeachment.

The impeachment process exists not to punish the offender, but to determine whether they have abused their power so egregiously that they are unfit for office and their removal is in the best interest of the state. It is unfortunate that the outcome of this process will ultimately relinquish control of the state’s top law enforcement agency to an individual who, I believe, clearly abused his power, compromised his agency and its employees, and moved mountains to protect and benefit himself.

“The Senate’s refusal to remove Ken Paxton from office is, however, not the end of this matter. Ken Paxton is the subject of multiple other lawsuits, indictments and investigations.

If new facts continue to come out, those who allowed him to keep his office will have much to answer for.

“I extend my utmost thanks to the House Board of Managers and their legal team for their diligent work on this matter, and to each of the 121 House Members who bravely acted in the best interest of this state by voting to advance the articles of impeachment. It was a difficult vote to take, but not a difficult decision. And unlike others, they chose principles over politics. I stand with them in full support of their decision and recognize the sacrifices they made in the name of doing what is right. Because of them, Texans had the ability to hear the evidence in a public trial, as the founders of this great state intended.”

Like I’ve alluded to in the past, RINO’s appear to have as much to lose as the Dems do if “The Donald” gets back into the White House (is The White House racist?). Maybe we should call it “The Afro House” to appease the BLM, Black Panthers, etc.. RINO’s seem to side with the loudest rather than the Righteous and I watched the video. My association with ethanol over the years tells me Speaker Phelan was either hung-over or presently gooned. In either case – not fit on the day to preside over a “Beer-Bust”, much less a State Legislative proceeding.

RINO’s are even worse than democrats, if that is possible. We must vote out all of them.

RINOs are Democrats who register as Republicans to run in Republican districts and tickle the ears of those ignorant of their intentions.

  6. Phelan is a left wing RINO, political hack who needs to go. Fortunately he will have a primary challenger, David Covey, who is an excellent choice to replace Dud Phelan. I don’t vote in that district but my checkbook will. Also, get your county Republican party to censure Phelan. If enough counties do that, and the state party does likewise, that would prevent Phelan from getting any financial support from the state party.

It’s inbred , asswipe , degenerate RINOS like Phelan and other RINOS that keep the bickering in the Republican party going . That’s one thing about the d!ckheads in the socialist democratic party ,they’re brainwashed enough that they stick together , unlike the Republicans with their RINOS. It’s like kids in grade school !! TRUMP in 2024 will have some of the RINOS running and hiding !!

  8. Tim Kuehl says:

The Texas House impeachment of AG Paxton broke Texas law in that the alleged crimes occurred before Paxton was elected and so under Texas law, by being elected afterwards, the voters of Texas acquitted him. Furthermore the impeachment hearings were held behind closed doors with no ability for Paxton to defend himself, none of the witnesses were placed under oath (all changed their testimony when under oath in the Senate trial) and the House members were given a very short period of time to review the charges and vote. All of this was illegal. Furthermore Phelan hired outside lawyers, paying them by the hour with estimates between $500 and $1500/hour instead of using staff attorneys as one would expect to prosecute this case. This whole thing was dirty politics, pure and simple.

I hate to see the division within the Republican Party but it is imperative that we remove these RINO’s who are not representing us and our interests.

  11. Cecelia Henderosn says:

Dade Phelab needs to shut his corrupt mouth. If he could tolerate the violation of over a 100 years of impeachment/evidence processes in the Senate, the man should not be in any Political position. Who does he think he is trying to tell the Senate what to do or how to do it? He’s the “House” Speaker only and he’s done a crappy job of that. I’d like to see Phelan impeached because it’s evident that he doesn’t respect or obey the Constitution or the Rule of Law. Our elected AG Ken Paxton deserved every opportunity to defend himself and he was denied those rights. This looked and smelled too much like the Jan 6th trial where the Democrats held court like they wanted, not by custom and/or Law. Texas is RED and I want it to stay that way. Phelan needs to go now. He’s not a RINO, he’s a left wing Democrat and he will only continue to hurt Texas and Texans unless we fix this problem. VOTE COVEY!!
