Would you hire a fox to guard your chicken house? Would you hire Joe Biden to babysit your six-year-old daughter? Would you hire a drag queen to be the principal at the elementary school where your kids attend? The Western Heights School District (WHSD) in Oklahoma City, Okla. did just that. When I was growing up a groom was someone who married a bride, but today it is someone who teaches that deviant sexual behavior is normal and that kids should begin having sex while they attend kindergarten.
Is it any wonder why parents rebel against schools that sexualize their children? Dr. Shane Murnan, a fifty-two-year-old gay man who moonlights as a drag queen who goes by the name Shantel Mandalay has taken over the elementary school in Oklahoma City. I have my own idea of how schools should decide who to hire as a teacher, a guidance counselor, or a principal. Give all of the applicants five student files with pictures and hire the applicant who reads the file without touching themselves.
Ryan Walters is the Superintendent of the State of Oklahoma. He has openly criticized the hiring, correctly calling it “insanity.” He went on to say:
“It’s outrageous to have a drag queen running a school, you know, here in Oklahoma. That doesn’t line up with Oklahoma values. I hear from parents every day that are concerned with this woke left-wing indoctrination of schools, this gender theory that continues to be thrust upon our kids. It’s completely inappropriate.”
Twenty years ago Murnan was arrested and charged with child pornography. The charges were only dropped because they could not prove the ones in the porno were underage.
The school district stated that they were aware of Murnan’s past charges, but still defended hiring him based on what they refer to as his great qualifications and outstanding reputation. A statement released by the school board said:
“Dr. Murnan has been serving the field of education for more than 25 years and has an outstanding reputation. He comes highly recommended from previous supervisors, colleagues, and educators. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Masters of Education in Educational Administration, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration. We welcome Dr. Murnan to Western Heights, and we are very excited about his vision for John Glenn and the community.”
WHSD Superintendent Braydan Savage released this statement:
“According to news reports at the time, those charges were dismissed by the court, and the record of the charges has been expunged. Since that time, Dr. Murnan has continued to be certified as an elementary school teacher and principal, including having his certificate renewed in April of 2023 and signed by State Superintendent Ryan Walters.”
“No parent wants to send their kids to school knowing that they could be exposed to this radical gender theory in any capacity. This woke war on our kids has to stop. We will not allow it in Oklahoma. This is the liberal insanity that every parent wants out of the classroom.”
“We will not allow our kids to be part of their radical-left game for pushing ideology and furthering their end goal, which is creating social justice warriors instead of students that understand how education is a path for success for them. We will not allow it. This will stop.”
The real danger to this community is the people behind this hiring. Murnan only represents the empowered, self-righteous tool that they have implemented to advance their disgusting agenda.

Carl Mac: I understand how and why this is so troubling to you, as it is me and any people who “truly care about what is right and wrong” in our society; but more importantly at the moment, “what needs to be done!” Here is something I wrote a while ago before things got this over the top and “blatantly evil” to put it bluntly!

In my reaching out to a fellow Christian who had noticed a striking decline in the number of parishioners attending her local parish church apparently brought on by what seemed to be some internal conflict of the local church hierarchy, causing the church to lose its former inspirational appeal so she was greatly troubled. But more shocking yet was the fact that at the same time came the news of the startling revelation regarding the shake-up around author and former pastor Joshua Harris’ retreat away from the teachings of Christ; and that Harris announced his total departure from Christianity. So, then she and her family began a quest to find a new church to attend weekly which I commended her on for not losing hope or faith and being vigilant to seek God’s guidance; all of which I tried to sum up in the following outlook I share here for anyone who might feel they are in a similar situation. As you read on here please bear in mind the contrast of these two men; one who led people to “the path of righteousness, love and freedom;” the other to wickedness, hate, and enslavement! These polar opposite men!
This was indeed some sad news to hear about, though not unlike the turmoil throughout the world which is so prevalent, and I believe we now live in “the unprecedented time” that Scriptures spoke to regarding the “time period before the final conflict and Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” For many years I’ve felt like I don’t belong and in fact the system as well as many people around me seemed to be much less connected or interested in each other as community and more apathetic! The lack of compassion and indifference is appalling these days with so many giving lip service to one thing or another but inside not caring at all about their neighbor; this is so different than how it was when I grew up which isn’t ancient history! By artistic imagination and vision the great renaissance masters depicted the height from which mankind had fallen in such beatific renditions that captivated the heart and soul giving the onlooker a sense of heaven.
But today these visionary arts with their generation are long past and we have been catapulted into a generation of High Tech bombastic Helter-Skelter visions of cold harsh technology with all of its artificiality and bleakness.
That ancient generation was a time of the uplifting of humanity, a time when certainly the majority of citizens would see the destruction of the unborn as clearly diabolical and wicked.
This wayward generation that we are in in now has flipped that idea on its head and even flipped out, to where life, even the innocent unborn is now denigrated as being just fetal tissue; from a fetus not a human being, because until it is a born breathing baby one can hold; it’s not a human being. How preposterous and evil an idea! What about it’s God given soul! Surely those that see it as just tissue don’t believe in any soul or God Almighty!
