Texas Democrat Attacks Kamala Harris Over Border Status

Kamala Harris recently went on television and proclaimed that the border is secure. Harvey Weinstein declared that Hollywood is safe for female actresses.

Jeffrey Epstein stated that Orgy Island is safe for underage girls. Kamala Harris is full of crap. Which of these statements is actually true? Everyone should have gotten this one right, even Democrat Rep Henry Cuellar. The border is secure in the same way the 2020 election was secure.

Texas Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar sent President Joe Biden a message on Sunday and directly contradicted Vice President Kamala Harris’ assertion that the border is secure. How would she know? She is in charge of the border, but never goes there.

I understand the White House had considered her for humiliating the administration on national television, but they then decided to allow Biden to continue in that job. How can a border be secure and at the same time allow 4.9 million illegal aliens into the country in just 18 months?

Cuellar said:

“We got to give Border Patrol, we got to give ICE, Homeland Security the equipment, making sure they have everything where they can enforce the law, because, if we don’t have repercussions at the border, we’re going to continue getting 8,000 people a day.”

“We’ve got to do— as your next guest is going to say, [former DHS] Secretary Jeh Johnson, he treated the people with respect — but at the end of the day, he enforced the law, and he returned people.”

“When was the last time you saw a picture or video of people going back? You only see people coming in. And you’ve got to have words, along with action to enforce it.”

Harris said:

“We have a secure border in that that is a priority for any nation, including ours and our administration.”

Cuellar disagrees:

“The border is not secure with all due respect to the VP. Look, we get 1,000s of people along the border, you know, from 6,000-8,000 people a day.

“We have 1.7 million people that were encountered last year. We’re going to have two or maybe 2.2 [million] by the end of this fiscal year. … that’s almost 4 million people. That doesn’t even include the getaways. The getaways are the people that Border Patrol has a good idea that evaded them. So you’re talking about almost 4+ million, maybe 4.4 million, individuals in two years.” (It’s actually 4.9 million)

Cuellar says that illegal aliens are human beings and we must treat them as such, but the Democrats are using them as political pawns. Illegal aliens, no longer have to sneak across the border. Now, they can freely walk across the border, be given everything they need to survive and be released throughout the country, not even needing a court date for their immigration hearing because Biden does not care.

Even Chuck Todd was baffled by Harris’ claim that the borders are secure. It seems like every other day a huge drug bust is made on the border even as the number of overdose deaths from heroin and fentanyl climb to new records and human traffickers and sex traffickers is making the most money they ever have. If this is secure then I would hate to see the border when it isn’t secure.
