Is there anyone in the Biden administration that is not more crooked than a dog’s hind leg? Apparently not, or they are very carefully hidden.
Alejandro Mayorkas held a press conference in which he claimed that border patrol agents whipped illegal aliens with their reins. But, before he held that press conference, he had received an email informing him that it never happened. That makes his statement to the press to be an intentional lie. One he will answer to Republicans for next year.
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin published an email on Wednesday that he says was delivered to Mayorkas prior to his press conference. that Mayorkas had been provided with a statement from photographer Paul Ratje.
Ratje was the photographer that took the pictures that Biden and Mayorkas are using in their attempt to frame the Border patrol agents. He said that the Border patrol agents, and remember, he was right there the whole time snapping pictures.

The email quoted Ratje as saying:
“Some of the Haitian men started running, trying to go around the horses. I’ve never seen them whip anyone. He was swinging it, but it can be misconstrued when you’re looking at the picture.”
“It was sent hours after President Biden falsely accused the agents of ‘strapping’ migrants and promised they would ‘pay,’ and hours before Mayorkas’ presser.”
Melugin pointed out that the email sent by DHS public affairs assistant secretary Marsha Espinosa, was sent to Mayorkas and others hours before Mayorkas’ press conference. They knew it was false but they were looking for a reason to punish the innocent men in order to intimidate other Border Patrol agents from doing their job in order to keep the border wide open.
The email was obtained by @Heritage after they filed a Freedom of Information Act request with DHS in March, seeking communications about the “whipping” incident. DHS didn’t produce the documents, so Heritage sued in June, & last week, DHS turned over an initial batch of emails.

The email, Melugin said, was initially obtained by The Heritage Foundation pursuant to a FOIA request. “They filed a Freedom of Information Act request with DHS in March, seeking communications about the ‘whipping’ incident. DHS didn’t produce the documents, so Heritage sued in June, & last week, DHS turned over an initial batch of emails.”
Melugin also noted that, prior to publishing the email and his report, he had reached out to DHS for comment — and “gave them two full days” to offer up a response — but no one from Homeland Security had offered any comment.
Also worth pointing out, I reached out to DHS on Monday and gave them two full days to respond to this story. I followed up with them again this morning before we went on the air, and I still have received no response whatsoever.

Just hours after the email was sent, Mayorkas spoke to reporters about the incident, promising not to “prejudge the facts” and saying, “The images horrified us in terms of what they suggest and what they conjure up. In terms of not only our nation’s history, but unfortunately the fact that that page of history has not been turned entirely.”

It should also be noted that in the investigation into the matter, the Border Patrol agents were found to be innocent of the charges, but Biden and Mayorkas were considering how to punish the agents anyway. Welcome to a Fourth World Country, the United States. (Not even a Third World country would try to pull this off.
