People are Canceling Fox Nation Subscriptions After Tucker Carlson and the Network Split

Tucker Carlson Hints At Future In New Statement After Ouster From Fox News

Carlson hints at what he will be doing in the future.

Tucker Carlson released a statement on Wednesday, indicating he plans to continue his journalistic work. What he will actually be able to do is in question and it is up to him to continue the work he was doing at Fox. His contract has a no-compete clause, but if he does not accept severance pay, that may not apply. That also means he could not accept Fox buying out his contract, otherwise, his career would be on hold.

Carlson said:

“One of the first things you realize when you step outside the noise for a few days is how many genuinely nice people there are in this country, kind and decent people, people who really care about what’s true and a bunch of hilarious people — also, a lot of those. The other thing you notice when you take a little time off is how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are, they’re completely irrelevant. They mean nothing. In five years, we won’t even remember that we had them, trust me as someone who’s participated.”

“And yet at the same time, and this is the amazing thing, the undeniably big topics, the ones that will define our future, get virtually no discussion at all: war, civil liberties, emerging science, demographic change, corporate power, natural resources. When was the last time you heard a legitimate debate about any of those issues? It’s been a long time. Debates like that are not permitted in American media. Both political parties and their donors have reached consensus on what benefits them, and they actively collude to shut down any conversation about it.”

“Our current orthodoxies won’t last, they’re brain dead, nobody actually believes them. Hardly anyone’s life is improved by them. This moment is too inherently ridiculous to continue. And so it won’t. The people in charge know this. That’s why they’re hysterical and aggressive. They’re afraid. They’ve given up persuasion, they’re resorting to force, but it won’t work.”

“When honest people say what’s true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful. At the same time, the liars who’ve been trying to silence them shrink and they become weaker. That’s the iron law of the universe. True things prevail. Where can you still find Americans saying true things? There aren’t many places left, but there are some and that’s enough. As long as you can hear the words, there is hope.”

“See you soon.”

Fox is already paying a price for firing Carlson. They lost one billion dollars in value in the first 24 hours after his firing. Carlson was averaging 3.2 million viewers per program and the first day he was gone Fox had just 1.7 million viewers. Advertising rates are based on the number of viewers, so you do the math. Some advertisers may actually cancel their ads for the eight o’clock hour altogether.

My investigation into a DHS program that instructed law enforcement to treat Christians as terrorists won me the 2014 CJN Journalist of the Year award. Here is a video of Glenn Beck reading my article on his program: I am a troll bridge. You can cross me, but you will pay a price.

Excellent work, Mike. I greatly commend your effort because I currently generate more than $36,000 each month from just one simple web business! Even with just $29,000, you may start developing a reliable online income ne-50 and these are just the most basic internet operations occupations.

Tucker and O’Reilly should get together. They could create the biggest and most appreciated, truthful newcast with editorials, that this nation has ever seen. Many large corps that advertise are not stupid, excuse me, I meant “woke, awakened, sleepy or whatever the devil the others call themselves.

    • Dale W says:

      I would go with
      Bill O’ Reilly
      Megyn Kelly
      Lou Dobbs
      Dan Bongino
      Trish Reagan

  3. ByGeoege says:

I suspect Tucker’s decision about his future depends on how much wealth he can accumulate, or not, before he dies. I believe he made a bunch in his years at Fox and for many, that could be enough.
By his comments I hope he sees a brighter future, a legacy if you like, by standing with integrity for truth, justice and the American way.
Americas government is run by a military-industrial-Marxist cabal driven by money. Always follow the money it drives everything! Tucker will succeed!

    • Sharon says:

Tucker has already had several offers — one with Glenn Beck who has his own show. Besides, Tucker is worth $370 MILLION. His mom divorced and left his dad (& disappeared) when Tucker, age 6, and his brother were little. His dad married an heiress, Patricia Swanson (frozen foods) who adopted both boys. Tucker rec’d inheritance of about $200 million from her. His salary with FOX has been $45 million plus now he will receive $25 million for a few years as compensation for the departure. He’s only in his 50’s and too young to retire. Don’t believe it’s about $$$ for him. And he has too much talent to retire.

      • Liz Rigney says:

And, how do you know all of this Sharon? Please site your sources, I’d like more more detail. Thank you

        • GenEarly says:

Lizzey, If you read something that you want more info on ….GO FIND IT YOURSEF!!!
What a libtard Karen you are, whether you know it or not.

“References please” such a priviledged mindset.

      • Brenda Darbyshire says:

I agree, and we need the research that we are not able to do into what Biden is doing in DC.

      • DALE W says:

Agreed. Tucker has plenty of money. I think that Tucker will be extremely active and he is driven and will try to make a difference in what he does.

    • Goodforall says:

I saw where his net worth is 345 million! Dont think the money is an issue. He wants to be able to speak the truth, something FOX doesnt believe in.

  4. Gary Lee says:

I totally agree with Mr. Carlson. In a few years, most of these “debates” will be the stuff of dim memory – with the exception of the many paid gotcha’ sleuths, that comb the internet looking for any dated material that they can use as some kind of political attack or smear. Most of the political arguments these days appear to me to be along the same vein as the squabbling seen in the book, ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ – where the ‘big endians’ were in constant war-fare with the ‘little endians’ – to the point you could be put to death for advocating your egg preference in the wrong company.

  5. Happy Warrior says:

What a wonderful commentary. I know we haven’t heard the last from Tucker.

    • Talltexan says:

Yup……Happy Warrior….you are so right. Tucker is a class act if there was ever one. What I have seen about the left….”they certainly know how to dish it out on all us conservative common-sense folks, then someone like Tucker comes along, and hands it right back at them, and they squeal like little pigs….and cry and moan for weeks and months afterwards.

  6. Talltexan says:

Hahaha…..can you visualize Murdock waking up that next morning after Tucker got fired, and seeing the rating numbers flood in…..his new pronouns for that morning were…..”Oh Shit.” What has my senile-old-self done gone and done now…! ! ! Losing $1.0B…is not something that is suppose to be happening to any one. But I tend to believe that they all were consumed by their wokeness, and being the loyal dumb’ocrats they all are, they were pressured by their woke buddies and the liberal community to just up and fire Tucker…..YEAH…buddy…fire that guy now…!! So they did, and look what the “blow-back” has caused. Hahaha….their own shit hit them squarely in their own faces. Serves them all right…I hope that Fox and all the other 3 letter fake news outlets go broke and have to go stand in a bread line like so many others are doing. “This just goes to show you” – they-ain’t quiet as smart as they let on that they are.

    • Herb says:

Fox is going to lose a lot more. The 8pm time slot charges a lot to advertisers but with the ratings for that time going in the toilet advertisers are going to be pulling the ads or will require a discount on the ads.

This will cost Fox a lot more money.

  7. RockyMtn1776 says:

I’d like to see Carlson go over to Newsmax. Whatever he decides we will follow him.

  8. CPO Bill says:

Great idea Susan! Go Tucker! EFF murdock in his biden!

  9. Gary M Wells says:

I really like the idea of O’reily and Tucker joining together and starting a network of conservative commentators! Maybe they could get Hannity and Ingram to come on board as well! I know the risk of not being remunerated as well with the new venture is real but dammit we need them to lead the millions and millions of conservatives that increasingly have nowhere else to go to hear the truth about what is really going on by the liberal manipulators. They could play a major role in saving an America from Socialism and fascism. This is a really Vital and serious moment in our nations history!!

    • SpectreFrom7734 says:

Amazing the silence on Fox News,
people more concerned for their careers than their fellow colleagues!
The betrayal of Tucker, DJT, Dan Bongino and all the J6 political prisoners is
disgusting to say the very least! Is this the USA?
Tucker, Elon, Donald T, and other interested parties should develop their own conservative TV channels on their own cable, and HD broadcast networks! If we all pool what we can afford we can make a devastating impact on the communications industry!
